Queensland currently operates two similar but separate worker screening systems to screen individuals providing support and services to children and people with a disability.
Following a review in 2020, the QLD Government approved a recommendation to implement a co-administered worker screening model. This model will see the consolidation of both worker screening programs administered by DJAG.
Consideration of technology required to support the consolidated business unit will be separated into 2 stages:
- Stage 1 – Solution Discovery
- Analysis is required to determine the needs of the consolidated worker screening unit to identify and assess the suitable technology solution/s to support business operations (including making a recommendation).
- This activity is analysis and solution discovery only, and will inform the request for approval and funding to move to Stage 2.
- Stage 2 – Implementation and Transition (if approval and funding is granted).
DJAG is seeking to engage a supplier to deliver Stage 1 – Solution Discovery – of the Technology component of the Program, including making a recommendation of the most suitable technology option/s that will meet the needs of the consolidated worker screening unit, that aligns to the DJAG ICT strategic goals.
