You are invited to submit a Request for Tender (RFT) to provide one or more components of a Research Information Management Solution (RIMS) for James Cook University (JCU).
JCU Research Information Management Systems (RIMS) ecosystem has organically grown over the past 20 years and is no longer fit for purpose for the current highly complex and competitive environment the University operates in.
This provides the opportunity to rethink and redesign workflows and business processes to more efficiently manage research administration, in conjunction with the implementation of a new RIMS.
Shortlisted Tenderers will be invited to present a product demonstration between 24th – 29th October 2022. This component is mandatory and those unable to comply will be removed from selection.
We also offer vendors the opportunity to provide a sandbox environment for staff to undertake “hands-on” testing for a period of 2 weeks following the product demonstration. Whilst this is optional, failure to provide such an environment may detract from your bid.
