| CONGEN0256 - Transaction and Commercial Advisory RFT
Queensland Hydro is seeking Tenders for a Transaction Management Advisory firm (or consortium/JV) for the provision of a specialist Transaction and Commercial Advisory Team to support the establishment of Queensland Hydro’s Transaction and Commercial Function (the Services). The Advisory Team will support Queensland Hydro’s program of works, as per Queensland Government’s requirements and the guidelines defined within the Business Case Development Framework (BCDF).
The establishment of a Transaction and Commercial function is vital to ensuring successful procurement and transaction activities across the program, as well as effective post-award contract management.
Upcoming major milestones for the projects includes the Borumba PHES exploratory works expected to commence in the second half of 2023. Pioneer-Burdekin may be developed in two stages, with the Detailed Analytical Report (DAR) for phase one planned to be submitted to the government in June 2024, and exploratory works for phase one planned to commence in 2025. Both projects will follow a similar development pathway, which includes feasibility assessment, exploratory works, planning and approvals processes, and main works package comprising construction, commissioning, and handover to operations activities.
