Front-End Engineering and Design (FEED) for the Pioneer-Burdekin PHES
Queensland Hydro are inviting shortlisted Suppliers to tender for consultancy services to develop a front-end engineering design (FEED) for the Pioneer-Burdekin Pumped Hydro Energy Storage Project (PBPHES).
The FEED Engineer will be responsible for time sensitive delivery of a front-end engineering design for the Pioneer-Burdekin Pumped Hydro Energy Storage Project. The work will be broken into two phases, comprising:
An options assessment phase, with a dedicated Option Assessment Report, drawings, and recommendation as to the Preferred Technical Option, followed by a workshop presentation to Queensland Hydro.
Complete FEED of the Preferred Option.
Key interfaces for the FEED Engineer will include the transmission interface with Powerlink, interface with the Owners Engineer team, interface with major equipment suppliers and interface with the cost estimators.
