The Cycling and Walking Team (the customer), within the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) Transport Strategy and Planning Branch (TSP) is undertaking a trial of new automatic permanent active transport counters. The trial involves testing two different counting technologies at separate locations in Greater Brisbane for a 4 month period. The trial will enable TMR to evaluate and understand the suitability of these devices on the network for future expansion across Queensland.
TMR requires the following:
The task is to undertake a temporary traffic volume survey of various active transport modes (cyclists, pedestrians, escooters and other) at 2 locations in Greater Brisbane for a period of 1 week to allow TMR to assess the accuracy of these devices and how users are interacting with the counter displays.
