CatholicCare Rockhampton delivers The Navigator Pilot which is aimed at assisting victims navigate their way through the court process. The Navigator Pilot program is subject to external evaluation to assess its effectiveness in providing support to DFV victims while they are interacting with the criminal justice system in relation to criminal proceedings.
The Department of Justice and Attorney-General is seeking a suitable supplier to undertake the evaluation of the Navigator Pilot program to:
evaluate the effectiveness of the Navigator Pilot to assist DFV victims in criminal proceedings feel safe and informed through the court process.
provide insights into the model of service delivery and the viability of extending the service delivery model more widely across other sites.
