| INVITATION TO OFFER: AQ053/2023 CIW21 Queensland Cultural Centre (QCC) Glass Balustrade Replacement Project
The State of Queensland represented by the Department of Treaty, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships, Communities and the Arts acting through Arts Queensland (the Principal) sought Tenders from Building Contractors to undertake the following building works project:
Queensland Cultural Centre Glass Balustrade Replacement Project. The scope of work included:
- Replacement of glass balustrades with heat treated / strengthened glass to meet Building Code of Australia provisions, and
- Installation of LED lighting to the existing handrails with new glazing inserts.
The Principal appointed a Head Contractor (building) in the role of Principal Contractor responsible for sourcing, engaging, and managing all the appropriate and required industry/trade specialist sub‑contractors required to complete the works.
SPECIAL NOTES:
- Mandatory Industry Briefing (MIB) and Site Inspection applied to this ITO and
- PQC Eligibility – Potential Tenderers were listed on the Project specific AQ 053/2023 Prequalified (PQC) System “Eligible Tenderer Report” .
