The Queensland Government is seeking Proposals for a Domestic and Family Violence Specialist Service to Deliver the Co-response Model in Cairns.
In response to Recommendation 37 of the Women’s Safety and Justice Taskforce, Hear her voice: Report one – Addressing coercive control and domestic and family violence in Queensland, the Department of Justice and Attorney-General (DJAG) in partnership with the Queensland Police Service (QPS) is leading the development, trial and evaluation of a co-response model involving a mobile co-response to police calls for service between QPS and government funded domestic and family violence (DFV) specialist service providers, in a number of locations.
A DFV specialist service provider (the Supplier) will be engaged to deliver the co-response model in partnership with QPS, in Cairns.
