Payne Road State School ? Block A Refurbishment (With Design Responsibility)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of Block A Refurbishment project at Payne Road SS, located at 171 Payne Rd, The Gap QLD 4061, as part of the School Infrastructure Enhancement (SIE) program.

 

The Stage 1 of works comprise the reconfiguration and refurbishment of existing GLAs to create GLAs, Stores and Withdrawal spaces. Stage 2 will comprise the construction of external walkway and stairwell. All works are to be completed by August 2024.

 

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

  • Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1,000,000.00

 

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
