| The Customer (Library Board of Queensland) issued this Request for Quotation (RFQ) in accordance with the terms and conditions of Standing Offer Arrangement (SOA) ICTSS.1008 (former X.TEN.0220) Hitachi Data Systems, with the objective of engaging a suitably qualified, resourced and experienced Hitachi ICT Products and Services Contractor (reseller) as specified in RFQ section 7 indicative timetable, as specified in the GITC General Order (draft), noting that by Saturday, 31 December 2022 there will be no available hardware support for components of existing system, and no replacements if required.
The Customer is seeking offers for the provision of the specified ICT Products and Services for its VMware System with Support and Maintenance project in summary requiring:
- supply of VMware hardware and software to meet State Library’s business requirements;
- the associated installation, implementation, and migration (transition old to new) services;
- delivery of training and ongoing support services to State Library staff;
- provision of ongoing maintenance services including extended warranty services; and
- further requirements are as outlined in documents specified in RFQ section 4.
The key objective is to establish a Contract with a suitably resourced Contractor who will have its Key Personnel dedicated to the project delivery to ensure the selected solution meets the Customer’s initial and critical system hardware replacement timeline (in accordance with the successful Supplier’s proposal as accepted by the Customer).
Total contract period of six (6) years from AAD for ongoing system support and maintenance (an initial five (5) year fixed term, with one (1) year option to extend at the Customer’s discretion based on funding and performance, as outlined in the specifications).
