| The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a Manual Arts Refurb at Burnside SHS, located at 52 Blaxland Road, Nambour QLD 4560, as part of the Direct (DIRECT) program.
The proposed Manual Arts upgrade includes the new welding bays, extraction and gas reticulation. The position of the Manual Arts Block is near the front of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by July 2024.
Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
- Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
- Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1,000,000
QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
