| The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a OSHC Extension at
Kuluin SS, located at 41-67 Tallow Wood Drive Kuluin, QLD 4558, as part of the School Direct program.
The scope of works includes demolition of the existing shed, timber deck, fencing, roofing, windows, doors, kitchen joinery and
roof drainage of office and kitchen. Construction consists of extending the office space with new carpet flooring, doors and
kitchen joinery; conversion of office to dry store room with vinyl floor and new kitchen joinery; and construction of a new timber
deck on steel columns with fencing and roof over. The position of the building is at the rear of the school in Block Y. All works
are to be completed by November 2024.
Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1M.

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required
to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
