| The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of an Amenities Block at Morningside SS, located at 67 Pashen St, Morningside QLD 4170, as part of the Renewal Program (RENEW) program.
The Works include the complete internal refurbishment of the Amenities Block, extension of the eaves line to the front of the building to create a covered entry area and external covered link modifications. The position of the building is at the rear of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by January 2025.
Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
- Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
- Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1 Million
QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
