The aim of the engagement is to document the elements of a modern ticketing system that will support the delivery of urban bus services in regional Queensland. The Future State Ticketing System will be capable of meeting the needs of the travelling public, TMR and operators. An assessment of existing ticketing systems against the Future State Ticketing System benchmarks will provide TMR with quantitative and qualitative current state information that will guide and inform system upgrades
