Kogan Creek Solar Boost Project - Balance of Plant
CS Energy is negotiating to contract with the solar thermal technology provider, AREVA, for the supply and installation of the solar field based on Compact Linear Fresnel Reflector technology for direct steam generation. This specification is for supply and installation of the Balance of Plant (BOP) associated with the solar boost project.
The Works is the Balance of Plant, BOP, required for integrating the Solar Field into the feed water circuit of Unit A at Kogan Creek Power Station. The BOP includes all of the equipment and services located within the Power Station Inner Perimeter Fence required for the tie-in to the existing power plant steam and water circuits. This work will be conducted during a power station outage.
