North Queensland Bulk Ports Corporation Limited (NQBP) is undertaking a project to upgrade some of its high voltage and low voltage electrical infrastructure. As part of these works a new transformer has been installed near the northern breakwater (Sub G) requiring the installation of new low voltage infrastructure to replace the existing high voltage infrastructure on Wharf No. 5.
