Supplt of Scaffolding Services
Supply, erect, maintain and dismantle scaffold to the Burdekin Bridge in Home Hill for a period of approximately 6 months. The project will extend between January and August 2012 (with the possibility of extension).
Scaffold to be erected beneath the Queensland Rail approach spans. Please see attached sketches and photos of span.
There are eleven (11) approach spans beneath the bridge on each approach. The process will be to erect scaffold in four (4) spans at a time, concentrating on one approach at a time. Ground covers will be supplied by RoadTek and they will need to be placed prior to installation.

Please note, as this is a Queensland Rail corridor, contractors are obligated to comply with QR safety regulations for working in rail corridors. For example, this involves suspending work when a train approaches or departs the work area. RoadTek will supply the Track Protection Officer.
