Wave Study for Cooktown, Horn Island and Seisa
The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) requires collecting design environmental data or new facilities to be built in Cooktown, Horn Island and Seisia in the northern region of Queensland. Since all sites are exposed to storm surges, cyclones and wind waves; it was decided to commission a wave and water level assessment to supplement the design basis for the new facilities.
