Transport and Main Roads (TMR) require bridges to be analysed and assessed for a number of load cases to be used to assess the bridge capacities for heavy load permits.
The scope for each bridge includes: Review of supplied drawings and Level 2 inspection reports Preparation of Spacegass grillage model in accordance with the brief Determination of load effects for reference load cases Determination of bridge capacities Preparation of rating tables in prescribed format for both the “as new” condition state and the “as is” deteriorated condition state where applicable. (refer section 5.8 for further detail) Preparation of a report for each bridge
