In the role of Senior Engineer (Geotechnical Engineering) / Senior Engineering Geologist you will: Provide specialist geotechnical engineering / engineering geological services and technical advice particularly in relation to slope stability risk assessment and risk management, and development of technical specifications, to facilitate the planning, design, construction and maintenance of road transport infrastructure.
Provide independent, authoritative and timely expert advice and manage slope risk assessment and geotechnical investigation services to Transport and Main Roads and other various clients to meet current and emerging road construction, performance requirements and risk management of the state controlled road network.
Be focussed on managing slope stability issues and supporting the state wide slope risk assessment data collection program for a designated area.
