Computers for Students Part B - 3G Data Services
The National Secondary School Computer Fund (NSSCF) is a key component of the Australian Government’s $2.4 billion Digital Education Revolution initiative. The Australian Government is investing $2.3 billion through the NSSCF to provide new or upgraded ICT for secondary schools with students in Years 9 to 12 throughout the nation
The Queensland Department of Education and Training (the Department) is working with the Australian Government to administer the NSSCF among Queensland state schools
The aim of the NSSCF is to achieve a 1 to 1 computer to student ratio for all Year 9 to 12 students by 31 December 2011
Part B - covers the 4 year data services for the notebook computers supplied under Part A and is limited to current members of the Whole of Government Panel PW-ICT-069. A GITC Customer Contract/s will be established for up to approximately 70 000 individual SIM cards with data usage for four years.
