The Department of Environment and Science requires the contractor/s to be responsible for: 

Installation of 30 x Environmentally Friendly Mooring (EFM) anchoring systems at locations in the Whitsunday Islands suitable for vessels up to 35m in length and 34 knots of wind (A – D size classes)

The anchoring system of each mooring installation (grouted screw mooring, helix anchor or similar substrate design components) should have a product life expectancy of greater than 15 years, and with appropriate cathodic protection, should have an indefinite life.
