The Department of Environment, Science and Innovation, Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service and Partnerships (QPWS&P) invites suitably qualified suppliers to submit an offer for DES1242035 - Construction of New Toilets Thorsborne Trail, Hinchinbrook Island.
QPWS&P are seeking submissions to construct four (4) new toilets; demolish and remove three (3) old toilets and septic systems; and other minor associated works at several visitor sites on the Thorsborne Trail, Hinchinbrook Island National Park.
The Thorsborne Trail is one of Queensland’s most iconic multi-day hikes. It offers visitors a world-class remote multi-day hiking experience through spectacular coastal and mountain scenery, cultural landscapes and varying significant ecological communities on Australia’s largest island national park, Hinchinbrook Island.
Eligibility requires at a minimum the following:
- Appropriate QBCC Builders Licence to undertake the scope of works
- Public Liability Insurance - Minimum of $20m
- Minimum Prequalification (PQC) System Level 1 (Where a PQC Level is stated, the Principal is not obliged to consider or accept a Tender unless the Tenderer is appropriately registered under the Queensland Government's PQC System for the PQC Level required (or higher) at the time of closer of tender.)
