| The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a Senior Adventure Playground at St Helens SS, located at 891 Saltwater Creek Road, St Helens QLD 4650, as part of the Playground and Tuckshop Grant (PTG) program.
The scope of works consists of the demolition of the existing playground and construction of a new playground, new shade structure (200m2), new rubber softfall and associated works.
The position of the playground is at the rear of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by end of April 2025.
Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
- Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
- Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1,000,000.00
QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
