One Mile SS - Prep Playground Upgrade

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a Prep Playground Upgrade at One Mile SS, located at John Street, Gympie QLD 4570, as part of the Playground and Tuckshop Grant (PTG) program.

The works include demolition of existing playground and shade structure and construction of new proposed playground and shade cover. Works also include additional sandstone seating and artificial turf area. The position of the area of works is at the front of the school with good site access and working space. All works are to be completed by May 2025.

 

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

  • Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1,000,000.00

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
