Tender Overview

The Customer has issued this ITO with the objective of partnering with a capable Supplier to deliver a leading-edge web content filtering managed service that:

  • Enhances the Customer’s web content filtering capabilities to support the increased bandwidth capacity of the Customer’s digital learning initiatives;
  • Delivers a robust, scalable and highly secure web content filtering solution capable of evolving over time with the needs of the Customer;
  • Enables intelligent reporting and data analysis in support of student learning and wellbeing outcomes; and
  • Delivers a cost effective, efficient service with a focus on proactive management and continuous improvement.

The Customer is seeking to engage a capable Supplier to deliver a web content filtering managed Solution, comprising at a high level:

  • A web content filtering solution to ensure all network traffic remains secure, tracked and safe for all staff and students;
  • A management portal/interface that enables schools to flexibly control local arrangements for web content filtering for K-12 classrooms;
  • A reporting service enabling the Customer to review and analyse internet browsing patterns, bandwidth constraints and user experience in support of the Customer’s digital learning capabilities and student wellbeing outcomes;
  • Associated network architecture and network devices able to support the Customer’s increasing bandwidth requirements and leverage multiple carriage types provided by its current data services providers; and
  • Service management of the web content filtering solution and all components comprising the solution, including associated network devices.
