Tender Overview

On 11 September 2012, the Queensland Government announced the Elderly Parent Carer Innovation Trial which is a $15 million, plus interest, initiative designed to support elderly parent carers of adult sons or daughters with disability to secure sustainable living arrangements for when they are no longer able to care for their family member themselves.

 

To date, approximately $7.18 million has been awarded to eight organisations to create up to 61 places for adults with disability.

 

In this funding round, nearly $10 million is available to be awarded via one-off capital grants up to $1 million and small grants up to $50,000.
