Section 1

Tender Overview

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a new car park at Denison State School, located at 16 Gray Street, Emerald, QLD, 4720 ,as part of the Prioritised Nominated Project (PNP) program.

The works includes the preparation of the relatively flat site, tree removal, construction of a concrete turning area for trucks and a new car park containing 44 new spaces, complete with drainage, signage, lighting, line marking, wheel stops and bio-basin. The position of the site is at the front of the school with easy site access and ample working space. All works are to be completed by middle of April 2023.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

  • Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1.0m

 

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
