Tender Overview

UniSC is seeking to enter into a contract to implement and support a solution for Student Academic Credit Management.  

UniSC objectives for the Request for Proposal (RFP) are to:

A unified Academic Credit Management Solution for UniSC which supports the following key process functions:

  • Application – user friendly application portal to create a seamless application for commencing and continuing students; pre-populated data based on integrations with UniSC Student Central System
  • Assessment and workflow – workflow management interface for application processes enabling visibility, tracking and governance; capabilities to process assessment, triage or escalate applications as appropriate; dashboards providing visibility and tracking on applications processing status
  • Credit allocation and notification – automated assessment against precedents, automated credit processing to student records; interface to record credit decisions precedent and outcomes
  • Credit precedent database – searchable database of instructions, programs and courses; prediction services in data entry; management tools for lifecycle of precedents and pathways (eg validity periods) and institutional rules and decisions
  • Business Intelligence and reporting – automated report generation capabilities; end-to-end system logging of user interactions
  • Integrations with other critical UniSC systems ad tools – such as Student System (2-way feed); Curriculum system; Corporate website; Study Link; CRM; SSO & Staff information for security roles

Vendor services: Implementation, configuration, data transition; full testing including UAT; training; post implementation support (approximately 6 weeks) and ongoing maintenance and support
