Tender Overview

Summary of the Opportunity

The University of Queensland (UQ) seeks offers for the supply of mowing and grounds maintenance. The primary objective of the work required is to carry out mowing and grounds maintenance at the UQ campus's UQ sites and some UQ remote locations. UQ requires the service to be delivered by applying industry best practices.

Enter into a formal contractual agreement with formalised reporting and KPI structure. The term of the contract is three (3) years with the option to extend for another two years (1+1) on an annual review basis.

Background and Objectives

UQ currently has a mix of in-house mowing and grounds services and contracted services.  The intention is to approach the open market and select a contractor to implement and deliver a comprehensive scheduled and reactive mowing and grounds service that will enhance the presentation of the UQ campuses and sites.

The contractor will be required to manage all sites including remote sites. Gatton Campus is offered as a separate portion.

The contracted component of the mowing and grounds service is for some or all of the following UQ sites:

St Lucia Campus

Gatton Campus

Herston Campus

Pinjarra Hills

Pharmacy Australia Centre of Excellence

Moreton Bay Research Station

Long Pocket

Ipswich
