The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the construction of a SSS Hall Extension at Jamboree Heights SS, located at 35 Beanland St, Jamboree Heights, QLD 4074, as part of the School Subsidy Scheme (SSS) program.
The new works include the extension of the existing multipurpose hall to create 2 new music practice rooms and associated storage spaces, new veranda and access pathway to the area as well as landscaping works to an adjacent courtyard. The position of the building is at the front of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by end of June 2024.
Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
- Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
- PQC Accredited – Level 2
- Have certified 3rd Party Quality Assurance
Minimum PQC Level 2 Eligibility required.
Where a PQC Level is stated, the Principal is not obliged to provide tender documents, consider or accept a tender unless the tenderer is appropriately registered under the Queensland Government's PQC System for that PQC Level (or higher) and categories for which the tender is invited.
QBCC Licensing
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project.
