In anticipation of the upcoming release of the Pumped Hydro Energy Storage (PHES) Designer Expression of Interest (EOI), Queensland Hydro would like to invite all prospective proponents to an industry briefing.
The scope of the PHES Design package will require the successful proponent to provide full design services for the design and construction phases of the Underground Main Works package (including intakes, tunnels, caverns, power station complex, integration of OEM electro-mechanical equipment, and interface with dam packages).
The procurement process for the PHES Designer will comprise a two-stage process including an open market Expression of Interest (EOI) Phase and subsequent Request for Proposal (RFP) Phase.
This industry briefing will allow interested proponents to learn more about the package and ask questions.
Representatives from the Project will be in attendance, as will members of Queensland Hydro’s Procurement team.
