Tender Overview

Energy Queensland Limited (EQL) is requesting information in relation to Video Conferencing and Audio Visual Hardware, Maintenance and Licencing.

EQL wants to build upon its current understanding of supplier capabilities and services available through early engagement with the supply market.

All suppliers that can offer suitable products and/or services to address the requirements are encouraged to submit a response to this RFI, as assessment of responses may impact the future procurement strategy.

EQL’s requirements are summarised below.

  • Supply and installation of Video Conferencing and Audio Visual (VC AV) hardware at EQL Sites across Queensland (as specified in Background, above). Due to the rate of change of technology available, EQL requires an arrangement that will provide a range of products and manufacturers, enabling choice based on requirements, functionality, and budget. EQL requires full control of hardware selection and ownership of all hardware.
  • Warranty and On-Site Maintenance including warranty replacements, holding of spares and quarterly maintenance visits for our Boardrooms and technical support visits as-required.
  • Advanced Technical Support including Level 3 troubleshooting and support, Hardware Premium Support management and liaising with manufacturers to resolve defects.
  • Webex Licensing including Active User and Meeting Bridge, with the possible requirement for CVI licences.

The ideal outcomes through a new arrangement are:

  • Range of products and manufacturers are available.
  • Installation capability is available at all Sites.
  • Hardware warranty, maintenance/repair and technical support is available to EQL Mobility and Collaboration team. 
  • Pricing is competitive throughout the Term and offers value for money.
  • Products and/or Services are delivered on time / in accordance with agreed Service Levels.
