Tender Overview

The Department of Youth Justice is calling for applications for a Townsville engagement and integrated diversionary service, targeting young people who are serious repeat offenders and/or at high risk of offending/reoffending, and are congregating around shopping centre precincts (with priority given to young people engaging in motor vehicle offending).

The department is seeking a Supplier with an existing operational presence in Townsville, who has experience working with a cohort of young people who regularly interact with police, courts and youth justice, and can demonstrate ongoing accountability to the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and other stakeholders.
