Purpose

This tender is for  three-phase disconnectors and associated earth switches including the design, manufacture, testing and delivery for use in Energy Queensland Limited (Energy Queensland) substations.

All disconnector switches shall be supplied completely assembled as a three-phase item including insulators, linkages and supporting base for mounting directly onto the supporting structures. Each disconnector switch shall be fully factory adjusted and prepared for site installation.

Mounting structures and earth switches may be required to complete the disconnector. The mounting structure items shall be supplied unassembled. Earth switches shall be supplied assembled and fully adjusted, either separate or installed on the disconnector.

All disconnectors and earthing switches shall be in accordance with AS 62271.102.

Disconnectors and earthing switches are located within outdoor switchyards for the purpose of:

• Isolating and earthing of transmission and sub-transmission lines and cables
• Isolating and earthing of capacitor banks and reactors
• Connecting, isolating, and earthing of transformers
• Connecting, isolating, and earthing of busbars

Register to Participate in Tender

Interested suppliers (Tenderers) are invited to register for the SR26123206 tender. The actual tender will be released via SAP Ariba in the next couple of weeks.

How to Respond

Suppliers who wish to submit a response should follow the below instructions:

1. Suppliers can register for the tender by sending an email to the nominated Sourcing Specialist / Contact Officer, Paul Spanner (paul.spanner@energyq.com.au). The email subject should contain the tender title including the request number “SR26123206 – Outdoor Disconnectors and Earth Switches” and the email should contain the following:
   • Business entity name,
   • Business email address,
   • ABN,
   • Contact name,
   • Phone number.
2. When registration is complete Suppliers will be invited to respond and will be able to access the Energy Queensland SAP Ariba realm via a link contained in the email notification. Please note this link will expire within 24 hours.
3. Suppliers must accept the prerequisite Bidder Agreement under the ‘Review and Accept Prerequisites’ tab to ensure all system generated notifications are received. This includes, but is not limited to, Content updates and changes to Event Timing.
4. If the Supplier elects to submit a response they must do so using Energy Queensland’s online tendering tool (SAP Ariba).
5. Suppliers are encouraged to read all relevant documentation located at https://www.energyq.com.au/suppliers.
