QRP-24-64 Beenleigh Feeder Station Upgrade and Ormeau Static Frequency Converter Market Sounding Queensland Rail is undertaking a market sounding exercise to inform the development of the delivery strategy for the Beenleigh Feeder Station Upgrade and Ormeau Static Frequency Converter project. To meet future demands for rail services the Queensland Government has undertaken an endeavour to deliver new rollingstock through the Queensland Train Manufacturing Program. This program will include the construction of a new facility at Ormeau which will consist of a Queensland Rail train stabling yard and maintenance facility. This development will require an additional independent 50KV (+25/-25kV) power supply on the autotransformer section. Queensland Rail is responsible for delivering this scope. Queensland Rail has identified two workable solutions to deliver the required 50kV supply: * Upgrade the Beenleigh Feeder Station; or Respondents who wish to access the Market Sounding documents must register their interest by emailing Kaitlyn Coombes at kaitlyn.coombes@qr.com.au with the following details: Submissions will only be accepted electronically via the Ariba Sourcing system.
