Tender Overview

The Department of Housing, Local Government, Planning and Public Works (the Department) is establishing a Housing and Support Link Service to support young people (ages between 16 and 25) who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless and receiving treatment at the Mater Young Adult Health Centre (MYAHC).

This Invitation to Offer has been issued with the objective of procuring value for money, quality suppliers that can successfully deliver:

  • Intensive case management for young people who are receiving or have received treatment at the MYAHC and are experiencing or at risk of homelessness or are living in inappropriate or unsafe housing.
  • Work with young people who require assistance to identify their immediate housing and support needs and link them to necessary housing and support services with the aim of building their independence, resilience and capacity to sustain a tenancy.
  • Assist young people to find and apply for appropriate housing, supporting them to commence a tenancy and liaising with their support networks and the MYAHC.

The successful Supplier will have the requisite skills, systems and infrastructure in place to undertake this work to the requirements outlined in this Invitation to Offer.

It is a mandatory requirement that:

  • Ethical Supplier Threshold form and meet the Ethical Supplier Threshold.
  • Queensland Supplier Code of Conduct declaration form.
  • Expenditure Plan over the three-years (Attachment 4) within the allocated budget.
