Section 1

Tender Overview

As part of the 2022-23 Federal Budget, the Australian Government committed funding for 500 new frontline workers to support women and children experiencing domestic, family and sexual violence (DFSV). Of the Commonwealth Government’s commitment, Queensland was allocated funding to deliver 111.6 new frontline workers to support women and children experiencing DFSV, funded under the Family, Domestic and Sexual Violence National Partnership (FDSV National Partnership) by 2025-26. The FDSV National Partnership includes a target for Queensland of 2.6 DFSV workers to support LGBTIQA+ people with priority to be given to allocating funding for these workers to LGBTIQA+ health community organisations. Queensland has increased this target and the funding available to support 3 workers.

DJAG is seeking to undertake an open tender process, to procure services from LGBTIQA+ Health Community Organisations that provide frontline services in Queensland in the health or community space to provide up to 3 workers.

For the purpose of this ITO, an LGBTIQA+ health community organisation is defined as an organisation that provide frontline health-related programs and services focused on lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer people and other sexuality and gender diverse (LGBTIQ+) people and communities.

Please carefully read the requirements for this ITO particularly the mandatory criteria as listed in the ITO documents.

For detailed information on the specific services sought under this tender, please review the "Specification and ITO Information" in "Section 1".

“Please note that during this tender and tender response evaluation period, Queensland Government will be in Caretaker Mode and relevant conventions apply.  We draw your attention to Clause 21 of the General Conditions of Contract  – Termination for convenience.  In the event of an incoming government (either existing or new) not wishing to proceed with this project, we reserve the right to invoke this Clause.  Please note that the Caretaker period ends when the incoming government is sworn in”
