The State of Queensland, represented by the Department of Education acting through Arts Queensland (the Principal), have commenced a project to replace major electrical infrastructure that is currently in operation at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) and has reached its end of service life. The scope of works includes replacing three main switchboards and related LV and HV equipment, and modifying / upgrading a number of electrical spaces associated with the equipment upgrades.
The Principal has released this ITO for the purpose of appointing a Head Contractor. It is intended that the Head Contractor will be a builder with experience in delivering large, logistically challenging projects that involve a significant level of electrical works. They must be PQC Eligible Tenderers (minimum Level 3) and will be responsible for engaging and managing all of the appropriate and necessary industry/trade specialist sub-contractors, manufacturers and suppliers required to complete the works.

Tenderers must attend the online Mandatory Industry Briefing (MIB) session, to be held at 11:00am, 24/01/2024 to be eligible to tender for this project. Please register your attendance by emailing the address below by 4:00pm, 22/01/2024. Please note: only eligible tenderers and their invitees are able to attend the MIB. Please email the address below to confirm if you are eligible.
