Tender Overview

The Department of the Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation, Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service and Partnerships (QPWS&P) invites suitably qualified suppliers to submit an offer for DES1252792 - Blackbraes Services Upgrades and House Ancillary Upgrades (Stage 1).

QPWS&P are seeking to engage a Principal Contractor to deliver plumbing, electrical, building and civil work upgrades. The objective of this project is to establish the necessary infrastructure at Blackbraes Ranger Base, within Blackbraes National Park, to achieve service delivery into the future.

Minimum eligibility requirements are as follows:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders Licence to undertake the scope of works;

• Certificate of Currency of required insurance policies;

• This is a PQC Project. Tenderers must be on the relevant PQC list by submission close. The PQC criteria are:

o Project type: Civic – Building related projects – Civil works – foundation (building work)

o Area of operation: North West.

Tenderers are advised that the following apply to this project:

• Queensland Government Building and Construction Training Policy;

• Building Industry Fairness (Security of Payment) Act 2017 Project Trust Accounts;

• Occupational Health and Safety Audits for Queensland Government building projects.

Optional Site Visit

Tuesday 18 March 2025 (subject to weather)

• Tenderers will meet at: Blackbraes Station, Dultara Rd Blackbraes National Park at 12pm.

• Maximum two (2) representatives per Tenderer are permitted to attend.

• The Principal does not give any warranty as to the condition of the site or anything located at the site.

• Please register for the site visit via email no later than close of business, Friday 14 March 2025 via email to capitaldelivery@des.qld.gov.au

• Mandatory site visit registration details required are:

o Company name;

o PQC registration details;

o QBCC licence details;

o attendee name/s;

o attendee contact number/s;

o attendee site visit travel details

QPWS&P offers each Principal Contractor a reimbursable amount of $2,500 inc. GST upon receipt of a conforming offer submitted prior to the tender closing date and time.
