Energy Queensland Limited (EQL) anticipates releasing a Request for Tender (RFT) in SAP Ariba around 26th March 2025 (to be confirmed) for Cheepie to Barcaldine Gas Pipeline Operation and Maintenance.

Scope:

The scope of works includes the following technical specification:

• CHEEPIE TO BARCALDINE GAS PIPELINE OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE 2025-2030*

*NOTE: Technical Specification included with this Notice is a Draft to assist potential contractors to determine if they are a suitable provider. The final technical specification will be released with the tender pack in SAP Ariba.

The scope of works includes operations and maintenance of the gas pipeline infrastructure and associated facilities. The pipeline is 4- and 6-inch diameter steel buried for majority of route, including Main Line Valves and other componentry. The scope of work is planned and corrective, as the line is patrolled and monitored subsequent work packages are developed by the contractor. Monthly checks, six-monthly and annual pipeline maintenance, ground and aerial patrols, regulatory reviews, maintenance of Log Creek Station and other MLV Stations such as Avadale, Gilmore, Blackall and Alice River. Demand i.e. erosion control, vegetation maintenance fluctuates dependant on wet season severity.

The RFT pack, Technical Specifications and Response Schedules are anticipated to be available from EQL's online tendering tool (SAP Ariba) around 26th March 2025 (date to be confirmed).
