The Department of Education (DoE) is inviting tenders for maintenance and repair works located at three different State School locations in the Burdekin area as noted below.

Home Hill State High School, 80-92 First Street Home Hill QLD 4806

• Covered Walkway Repairs and Roof Replacement, including preparation and repainting, for walkways between blocks I-G, J-H & B-E.

• External cleaning, repairs and repainting of B-Block. Works include refreshing existing timber bag racks or providing an option for removal and make good surrounding structure for future installation of new units.

Ayr State School, 141 Graham Street Ayr QLD 4807

• Covered Walkway Repairs and Roof Replacement, including preparation and repainting for walkway between CPAQ & Multipurpose . Works include inspection of roof sheeting, down pipes and guttering to be replaced where no longer structurally sound.

East Ayr State School, 41 Ross Street Ayr QLD 4807

• Repairs to timber cladding and support posts under Block A & Block B at the section linking the two buildings.

• Provide an alternative option to replace lower sections of timber cladding with masonry blocks (or like product) to prevent future deterioration and install weather-proof screens / crimsafe (or like product) to upper section providing protection from weather but allowing for airflow.
