Section 1

Tender Overview

 

RoadTek will be undertaking rehabilitation works at 5 locations Flinders Highway, Ch:25.85-Ch:27.6 and Ch:30.30-Ch:31.60 on the 14A section (Townsville to Charters Towers) & Ch:3.80-Ch:6.05, Ch:10.42-Ch:13.06 and Ch:13.06-Ch:15.62 on the 14B section (Charters Towers to Hughenden).

Works include:

• Primer Seal (AMC7) 10mm

• Double/Double Seal – 1st Coat (S15R & 14mm)

• Double/Double Seal – 2nd Coat (S15R & 7mm)

• Preparation of the existing surface

• Tack coat, residual bitumen

• Heavy duty dense graded asphalt in surfacing course, AC [14] H mix (50mm nominal thickness - Intersection Overlay)

The anticipated commencement date for these works is September 2025 subject to the financial approval processes with Practical Completion date of 30.06.26.
