The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a Tuckshop Upgrade at Gympie South SS, located at 50 Exhibition Road, Southside QLD 4570, as part of the Tuckshop Grant (PTG) program.

The area of works is in the centre of the school campus with limited access and working space. The works include the refurbishment and extension of the existing tuckshop. All works are to be completed by January 2026.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works

• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1,000,000.00

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
