Tender Overview

PURPOSE

The purpose of this engagement is to secure suitably experienced Project Managers and Road Inspectors to support the delivery of the Central West flood damage program. The resources will provide technical guidance, field inspections, damage assessment, damage pickup, program monitoring and reporting to ensure compliance with DRFA funding requirements and TMR standards.

This engagement will enable timely delivery of flood recover works while maintaining quality, probity and regulatory compliance. The resources will operate across the Central West region.

OBJECTIVES/SCOPE

TMR requires two Project Managers and two Road Inspectors with appropriate experience to support and manage the Department’s Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) program. These resources will provide specialist support to deliver the Central West flood damage works, including program management, inspections, reporting, and preparation of compliant documentation in accordance with DRFA and TMR requirements. The engagement will ensure that milestones and reporting obligations are met while maintaining alignment with TMR technical standards and policies. While relevant experience is essential, formal tertiary engineering qualifications or RPEQ registration is not mandatory for these roles.

The Road Inspectors will be predominately site based, conducting inspections of flood-affected roads and infrastructure across the Central West region. Duties will include assessing and capturing road damage, scoping works, monitoring contractor activities, verifying claims for DRFA reimbursement, and providing technical recommendations to project managers.
