Tender Overview

The contract requires that a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) shall design and deliver training and assessment strategies that will fulfil the needs of Ergon Energy employees wishing to gain qualifications within the Electricity Supply Industry - Generation Sector Training Package (UEP06).

It is intended that a collaborative arrangement be developed between Ergon Energy and the RTO. This arrangement will result in a strategy were suitably qualified Ergon Energy employees / Engaged Parties will under the guidance of the RTO eventually present the training and assessment program. Ergon Energy staff will also be available to providing assistance in both the development and organisation of any 3rd party requirements.

The contracted RTO shall undertake the following:
Design and Develop Training courses
Develop and Document training and assessment materials that will enable the delivery of the following qualifications:

• Certificate II qualification in ESI Generation (Operation Support) UEP20106.
• Certificate IV qualification in ESI Generation Maintenance (Electrical/Electronic) - UEP40506
• Certificate IV qualification in ESI Generation Maintenance (Mechanical) - UEP40306

A list of competency standard units considered to provide the most value to Ergon Energy and its employees is provided as Attachment 1 of the Briefing Document. This list shall be reviewed by the RTO and a final list developed after consultation with Ergon Energy.
