Section 1

Tender Overview

Queensland Rail is looking for a service provider to deliver the following outcomes in the provision of EAMS support:

  • Availability of systems

  • Responsiveness to ICT and Business issues

  • Resolution of incidents and issues

  • Validity of application versions

Queensland Rail's primary outcomes of the arrangement are as follows:

  • Deliver flexibility through managed services that are able to expand and contract with organisational change

  • Meet Queensland Rail business and performance requirements for highly available, high performance, reliable, secure and cost-effective Service 

  • Support business initiatives and priorities

  • Financially effective solutions and services with cost efficiencies delivered through the contract period

  • Achieve low risk entry into new technologies and/or services

  • Minimise disruption and risk to Queensland Rail operations and personnel during the transition period

  • Applications maintained and supported in accordance with QR’s procedures and policies.
