Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Provision of an Anti-Malware Solution - 510315 Endpoint protection (anti-malware) is a critical control in Council’s Information Security Strategy. Brisbane City Council currently uses the Symantec Endpoint Protection suite and associated Symantec Management server solution to provide anti-malware capability on Windows servers. Council has identified that extending anti-malware capabilities to non-Windows platforms is important. This presents Council with the opportunity to revisit its anti-malware approach to ensure that Council maximises value for its expenditure and maintains modern information security controls. The objective of the RFP will be to seek proposals from the market for the supply of licences, implementation and support of an Anti-Malware Software solution which caters for Windows and Linux servers as well as legacy Unix servers.
