About Brisbane

Brisbane City Council is investigating solutions to our city’s parking challenges. Council is hosting a market sounding event to gauge industry capability to provide a total parking management solution. 

Brisbane City Council is the largest local government in Australia, with an annual budget of AUD 2.6 billion and servicing a population of more than 1.1 million residents.

Like all major cities, Brisbane has experienced significant population growth which has presented challenges to our transport networks, including the management of off-street and on-street parking.

Brisbane City Council currently employs a variety of different systems to manage parking in our city and is seeking to invest in new and emerging technology and hardware elements to find modern and integrated parking solutions.

Our vision for a total parking management solution

Our parking vision includes providing modern and seamless:
