The Queensland Government is seeking Responses to an Early Market Engagement (EME) on Corporate Services Software (CSS).
The Queensland Government relies heavily on Systems of Record to deliver frontline services and manage ‘back-office’ operations as part of serving all Queenslanders. The large proportion of Systems of Record take the form of integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, with the majority of the State (including all department, agencies, Statutory Authorities [SAs], Government-Owned Corporations [GOCs], and related entities) relying on these to manage their corporate services.
This EME seeks to help government understand potential market offerings that can address emerging needs for a contemporary, modular CSS (postmodern ERP) for all State department, agencies, Statutory Authorities (SAs), Government Owned Corporations (GOCs), and related government entities across Queensland
The EME process is designed to achieve the following objectives:
- Gather insights on the CSS market, including providers with an Australian (and specifically Queensland) presence, and the capability of their products;
- Understand, from the vendor perspective, the trends, themes, and market challenges that would impact or otherwise influence the establishment of a Panel for modular-based CSS solutions;
- Establish the market capability and capacity to provide contemporary, modular CSS solutions to Government across Queensland;
- Explore clients served by each of the CSS vendors, and case studies / success stories by vendor;
- Determine design options, and the breadth and depth of available solutions, available from the market;
- Understand available pricing models / options available to the Government;
- Test vendor capacity to deliver available solutions (including establishing track record and credentials / reference sites)
